Do you think that people judege everyone by what brand of clothes they wear?? Like at my school, HOLLISTER!!!!

yes, the answer is yes.... where ever u go in life ppl will always judge u and u know wat they say" presentation is everything" ....... but i guess, i mean ppl in my school just assume that i am rich caz i wear juicy and abercombie and Joie...... i mean itz true but still..... they r kinda judging me in a way.... this girl i know that i know from dance .... just said to me(today) that i am Way obsessed with designers caz i wear ah lot of their clothing, itz true but she just assumes that caz i wear those kinds of clothing... i mean she calls me prep sometimes...for it....

but really it is practically human nature 2 judge ppl.... i mean when i waz living in Manhattan,,,ppl would look @ u a certain way ... i called it the Manhattan onceover, caz they look at u , judge u, then they decide on speaking 2 u or nawt.... nawt that i am saying that i didn't do it... caz it did and that may b way ppl r considered vain....b caz they wanna look good for their Manhattan onceover......

No matter where you go, you're going to be judged by someone. Everyone's guilty of it. But if you really like labels, please don't be delusional and think that Abercrombie and Hollister are fashionable, stylish, or worthwhile. These are carbon-copy clothes that EVERYONE buys into because they a. can't afford real fashion and b. have no clue what real fashion is. Either you're a fashion whore and you can tell which designer is having a good season v. bad season (i.e. right now, Dior's having an amazing season and FCUK's clothing line for the spring sucks.)
The other option is a less known, chic brand like American Apparel or Urban Outfitters. Usually you'll pay less than you would for something trashy (A&F, Hollister) and you'll look ten times better (oh and the clothes will last about ten years longer also).

Personally I cannot see what the attraction to those clothes are. I guess brands just tell people how to dress and people are not responsible for having a personal style. Personally I like to pick out clothes that I think are cute and not just ones that have a label. I do not like labels.

definetly. not only that but eveyone stereotypes other people just by how they look. its human nature i guess... but whatever your style is, if u always have a smile on your face and seem approachable, people will notice u and wonder why you're smiling. If u really wanna wear hollister to "fit in" or whatevr i think u should just incorporate it into your style wether it be punk, gangsta... whatever.. if u got the confidence to do it, you'll shine through.

I think as long as you look good I dont care wear you buy your clothes. Then again I'm 23 not in high school. It wasnt really like that at my school but now and days I'm sure it is.

yea, i can admit that i do. depending on your race, yes hollister will have people talking bout, but i talk in a good way, like ur shirt is cute or sumthin, but im like its just clothes u kno.
