only has sex with women, is she straight or lesbian?

Yes, this is a serious question. A close friend of mine is in this situation and knows my fondness for hairsplitting arguments and wordplay, so she asked me. I can make the argument either way, so I thought I'd enlist some help.

Please - no "politically correct" answers. Just give me an honest opinion, preferably with the reasoning behind it.

Mostly good answers so far - thanks.

Android - yeah, it would make a difference. Post-op, she's a lesbian. It's the pre-op thing that has me chasing my tail.

Uhh - no pun intended.

I think honestly she's lesbian, as in strict terms her brain is in coflict with her sexual appearance.
Would you think different of her iff she was post-op ?

Is she on Hormones ? Is she already doing her RL test.
Is she still getting erections ?
Is she a TS, TG, TV, CD, Shemale ?????
There so many citeria involved, and only a small amount of info.
And is it not society that has made rullings as how long one as to wait before SRS is allowed ?

Given that a pre-op MTF feels that she is actually a woman, this would make this lesbian behavior. I'm going to separate that from BEING a lesbian, because maybe she is actually bi. You didn't make that clear.

Legally though, a pre-op is still a male.

A pre-op MtF is a woman, albeit a woman who was born as a man and has a penis. If she is only sexually attracted to women, the MtF is a lesbian.

That's that. Hope it helps.

sexual orientation is a state of mind, therefore if the person identifies as a female, and has sex with other females, then in theory, "she" is a lesbian.. however, that's only if the sexual activity is of lesbian nature.. (oral, fingering, frotting, etc)

if this person is comfortable with "her" penis and is able to sustain an erection and is able to enjoy penis-to-vagina intercourse with a female, then in my opinion, this person is not really a transsexual.. "she" is a male who feels capable and comfortable in the male sexual role. she is actually just transgendered and/or transvestite.. this is a straight male who enjoy's crossdressing.. having the surgery would be a MAJOR mistake.. true transsexuals hate their penis and are unable to use it in sexual situations.. at least in theory..

Since he's a male now, and he sleeps with women, he's straght. When he becomes a woman, if *she* continues sleeping with women, I guess she would be a lesbian. Interesting question!
