For the numbers 1-9, each pair of numbers the same distance from the 5 will add up to 10. (1+9, 2+8, 3+7, 4+6) Since you only care about the last number, each group becomes a 5. The 10 and the 0 don't change anything. Since 5+5=10, the last digit is 0.
Yes, that sounds like a long way to go to get to the answer. But that's only because I'm explaining it. In actuality, I had the answer instantly, because the only math I had to do was 5+5.

I really hope that if this is a part of your homework, you're not cheating online. But since this is in the trivia section . . . (0+1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9) = 45, and 45x2=90, so the last digit is 0. (and remember, cheaters never prosper . . . ) :D

you will have 45+55 which is 100 so the last digit is 0
You first series starts with 0 and ends in 9 which is 45
