100% yes you can!
I have three yrs ago while pregnant with my second youngest I nursed my daughter while pregnant and I nursed both (youngest first offering my daughter a bottle until the baby had his fill then I nursed her. lasted two months, she stopped at that point) and I nursed my now three yr old while pregnant with my one yr old. and again after birth nursed both; youngest first.
some women do get sore halfway thru the pregnancy, others feel uncomfortable nursing at that point.... so, it is a matter more of what you are comfortable with than anything.... but you can nurse, as often as the baby needs to, or as often as you want... for as long...
I did not have to increase my calories, by 800 as one answer says.... talk to your dr. only the amount for pregnancy since for nursing they have found there is only a need to drink extra water! no need for extra calories!
I got pregnant, and many others have while nursing as well... it is NOT birth control!! not by any means!! I do not even know why the one answerer has that as an answer.... since it is NOT the question.... but it is inaccurate! BIG TIME.....
Calliope has a lot of good sites up so I won't put any up... she is right! you can nurse while pregnant; you can nurse both after the birth of your second.... you do NOT need so many extra calories that you gain weight! lol
good luck!
congrats!! :)

Yes! You can, and many women do. Some even continue to nurse the first child after the second is born (called tandem nursing). I put some links below for you to look at regarding both of these topics.
However, for some it is not possible. My daughter weaned herself when I became pregnant with my son -- exactly 7 days later, in fact. I tried everything. I was in contact with La Leche League, trying supplements like Fenugreek, pumping like mad, but she wasn't the least bit disturbed about the situation. She simply decided she didn't want to nurse anymore. To this day, I'm not entirely sure whether it was the change in the milk's taste (I've heard that that changes when you are pregnant) or if it was a severe decrease in milk supply. I did notice that I was unable to pump even a half ounce on either side, no matter how hard I tried. Although a pump is not as effective as a baby, I should have been able to get more than that!
Good luck, I hope it works for you!

You can. I tried to, but 4 months into my second pregnancy my nipples were so sensitive that I had to stop. Just remember-you need 300 extra calories a day for the fetus and 500 extra calories a day to support the breastfeeding, so 800 extra quality calories a day!

When a mother breast feeds she has a hormone which usually does not allow her to become pregnant.. and usually she does not have her menstrual periods. If you are aware of the huge familys of the olden days, women didn't see being pregnant as such a bad thing because it meant lots of months with no periods and then lots more months with no periods while breast feeding. When you look at all the numbers and dates, you'll notice that practically none of them ever got pregnant until she's running out or ran out of milk. My doctor used to have this silly saying... "None of my mothers ever get pregnant while nursing.. five minutes later maybe... but not while they are nursing!" Now that was his way of saying its not 100% birth control so use protection if you don't want two in diapers at the same time. :)

Yes you can, just make sure you are eating enough to keep up your health, and the babies health and enough for the breastmilk.
I breastfeed my daughter while I was pregnant. She self weaned about a month before baby was born. So I at least got a little break.
But I had no problems with it and neither did my friend.

Yes you absolutely can. I really can't give you much advice on the subject, but there are several good websites out there where you can research it. Try www.kellymom.com first, and click on the link on the left side which says 'pregnancy/tandem nursing'. This site has so much information as well as links to other sites.

yes you can .i did for about 4 months into my pregnancy also.but i started having problems.breastfeeding while pregnant can trigger contractions and lead to pre term labor.which is not cool.my baby kept trying to come to early .my doctor told me to quit breastfeeding.but the best thing you can do is ask your doctor he knows whats best for you and your baby .good luck

From what I understand yes, but you have to maintain your self very very healthy, but you should talk to your nutritionist before continuing.
