It depends on what is in the blog. If it is a interesting blog I would read it but if it doesn't interesting me at all I wouldn't waste my time reading it.

One late night, much like tonight, I was doing some research on tattoos and myths and lore of an old sailor saying "Hold Fast". Anyways, I stumbled across this person's blog and stayed up till the early morning reading different entries about different things in their life. The weirdest part for me was that I could relate to a lot of thoughts, feelings, and ideas that this person had but that I had not realized I had yet. Does that make sense? The author was near 20 years older than I am but I could feel what he was writing. Almost as if it was me writing but I had not had the life experiences yet. Sometimes people can put words to thoughts you don't know how to express.

Anyways, I do not think it is a waste of time as I still read this person's blog today close to two year's later. If you would like to know the site I would be more than happy to share it with you.

Hope this helps.

:-)

On the contrary, I've found some people's blogs to be worthwhile and entertaining.

No, you can gather insight from other people. Even if you don't like their lifestyle, you can learn from their mistakles, and make friends.
