My date is wearing black so I know there is basically any color i want but we are going as "just friends" so i dont know if i shouldnt get certain colors or what

get yellow roses or flowers if she's you're friend :)
They're not as passionate looking as reds or pinks, but they're so pretty and.."friendly" looking.

Well since you are going as just friends, you are so sweet to get your "date" a corsage. Well If you haven't gotten a tie yet or can get another one easily and dont mind doing so, I would match the corsage you get to your tie! I would make the corsage and your tie white blue and yellow! I would suggest a white and blue carnation and yellow roses! But you could go with her favorite colors too!

Well getting a red one is totally out of the question. Try a yellow or white one. Simple colors like that with a soft color touch, will look pretty great! Those colors are mainly for friendship colors :)

It might be a good idea to match her corsage to your tie if she's wearing all black, and make sure it's a wrist corsage, not a pin-on.

White roses are supposed to mean just friends, or at least that's what I've heard. Red means you like her.
