Hello ALL
I want to look into plus size modeling, could you please give me some agencies or websites that really help...or any information you think I may find usefull...females often express modeling to me but insecurities have blocked me from even trying ... I am ready to see what could be...I live in PA and have never had professional pics before, I don't own a "head shot"...I want to send in a pic and have an agency decide yes we can use you or no we can't...all comments are appreciated! Thank You

I say take a chance. However, you need to look for agencies in your area. One helpful hint: You do not pay anyone to model for their agency. They pay you. When they start asking you for money-run far away. Also research the company before doing business with them. If modeling is something that you really are interested in doing, you need to have some pictures taken of yourself. They don't have to be professional but you should have at the least a headshot, a full body shot and then something that describes your personality. Hope things work out for you.

I really suggest you to go to get an audition in the reality TV show - American Next Top Model. During the audition, you just tell Tyra Banks a touching story and show her how bad you want to be a plus size model. Then you will get a role in it.

Don't you see Tacorra in Season 3 is at least a celebrity now and you maybe another Jennifer Hudson.

I think that people should be able to model no matter how big or tall or skinny or tall. You should be able to model even if you not a skinny girl because every body can model no matter what you look like or what kind of skin color you have on you

go for it. However, please look in the phone book in your local area for modeling agencies. Make sure they don't want to "charge" you too much money, if any, to get started. Please check with the Better Business Bureau in your area to check ut the agencies in your area. They know who would be good, or not good. Take care.
