Well I'm sure most younger people around 13 years old would say thats quite lame, since kids now days are more worried about having sex earlier & earlier. However in my opinion at 22 (23 next month) it isn't lame at all. If you reach 18 and you still haven't get a kiss yet, than I'd be wondering than if I was lame or not, not when your only 13. Now of course if you get like me and that is 23 years in about 2 weeks and never having had a girlfriend, been on a date, or had a kiss, than yes its lame & pathetic (P.S. I want to go out on dates & have a girlfriend, I can't seem to find anyone though.)

Diane
you are not anywhere near "lame" darlin'
You are a "prize" and most definately a "special" individual !!
It doesn't take all that stuff to be somebody at your age-- you actually have all the time in the world-- and to just go after that stuff with anyone at all to have said that you have--- is simply stupid--- "that stuff" will come in time and if you've waited for the right person and the right time-- it will indeed be magical !!!
For the time being-- just enjoy your friends and the things you like to do-- when this other stuff comes along-- you'll know when it's right and then there will be no question that waiting definately didn't make you "lame" !!!

age shouldnt really define the time you need to date or kiss

no sweetie thats not lame at all. It's perfectly understandable. I was 15 when I got my first kiss and a "real date." So dont worry about it. You must still be in middle school.. you're not even in high school yet.. theres plenty of time for that stuff coming up.. just realize.... We're young & that's what growing up is all about; making mistakes, wondering if the choices we made were right, surrounding ourself with beautiful people & having fun. So forget your head, follow your heart, live for the moment, & take a minitue to just enjoy it.... & most importantly, dont pressure yourself to do anything you dont wanna do... remember that :)

NO, I don't think it is. To be honest, my husband was 24 before had his first girlfriend... and I think it made him a better man for waiting so long.
Everybody matures at different times and speeds and everybody begins to date at different times...it's a maturity thing.
Besides, kids today are in such a rush to grow up... and for what?? There is no reason, just that they feel they're missing out on something, perhaps sex...I dunno...but I think you should just enjoy your time as a kid and not worry about kissing or dating yet....you have the rest of your life for that.

Girl, I didn't have my first date until I was 17 years old! So, stop throwing a pity party. The kisses and dates will come in due time and you'll see.....It isn't all that it's cracked up to be!

Not lame at all. Please enjoy this time and do not rush romantic stuff. It will be there soon enough. It is not a badge of honor to say that you have had a date and a kiss.

No, unless you've actually been trying to go on a date and have a kiss. I'm a sophomore in high school but i'm very picky so i haven't either. I think that that is good for you!
