Racism is a problem because as long as it's excist, the world will never have true peace. It's cruel and inhuman. NO one has the right to tell someone of another race that they aren't good enough.
I'm extremely upset The Human Race automatically assumed you meant African American's when racism comes in all forms. Not just African American's. Grow up and do your research. You look really ignorant.

racism is anti equality. it is the belief that ones own race is superior to another. Racism is what has caused everything from slavery.. to segregation,...to giving one race preferabilty in jobs, services, and just about anthing you could possibly think of. It is the belief that because a person is of one particular race that they will act, behave, live a certain way and according to the racist is usually highly unflatering.
you can pretty much pick every single bad thing that has happend in ALL our history on this planet and RACISM has been a factor. From the holocost, to the crusades, to what is happening in the world today.

In the least level, racism cause social problem and racial disharmony.
My country is a multi racial society, in the early 60s/70s my country suffered from racism, it cause a mess havoc and chaos among different race.
If everyone do our part to have more understanding and tolerance among different race, i think it will be one of the factor which contribute to world peace.

It leads to Violence easily. It makes one cannot live peacefully with one and other. It slow down the better development of one nation. It makes human look shallow and self-centered.

i think the problem is that there is not enough education.. this goes for all races.. i have a mixed son 1/2 black and 1/2 white. i have dated black men, and i have dated hispanic men. i dont have a preferance to color, only the man himself.. people are scared of what they dont know, and therefore dont take time to get to know, only judge.. in return, problems in every school, every town, city, state, Nation Wide.. Mostly cuz of pure IGNORANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
