I am 32 years old,and I know my chances will start to decline once I turn 35 years old.I know I am ovulating because I have tried the ovulation predictor test before. Its kind of frustrating.I figured that I just might not be "doing it" at the right time. Also I have heard a lot about "clomid".What are my chances if I take clomid, and how soon can I can conceive? Also is it expensive.Serious inquires please.

clomid works for some women with their first dose and with others it could take up to 6 cycles if you get the name brand it costs $75 for 5 tablets and if you get the generic its under 30 for the 5 tablets I am on it and this is my third cycle of it and now i am waiting to see if I got pregnant . My sister took it and got pregnant the same month.Talk to your Dr. and see if you should take it or if you just need to wait also make sure you are trying every other day from day 10 to day 18 counting your first day of your period as day 1.GOOD LUCK BABY DUST

I dont know anything about clomid, but I do know about preseed. It is a lubricant that is sperm friendly and it has helped many women get pregnant. All woment I have asked have said it has worked for them. So I used ovulation predictor tests also and as soon as I tested postive on those, we used the preseed everyday until we ran out. So now we're just waiting it out to see if I am pregnant. Google Preseed and it will give you the home page. It's 14.99 and it takes about three days to be in your mail box. Try that. Goodluck

Doctors tell us not to panic if we haven't conceived within six months of serious trying, so if it hasn't been that long, try to think positive and keep on trying.

It's harder to become pregnant than we think. If you can get your mind off of it and just make love normally for a few more months, it might happen. I wouldn't take drugs unless the doc says you aren't ovulating, because that's what clomid does: ups hormones to release more eggs.

Try yoga, don't make excuses about getting rid of stress in your life just do it, and go back to having sex for fun and not just to procreate.

Good luck!

Okay..first, start before you ovulate. The chances of you getting pregnant during the time of ovulation is slim. Instead of wasting more money on tests, you can do something that doesn't cost money and is typically more effective. Start trying about 3 days after your period ends. Every other day, because sperm takes about 48 hours to replenish fully. When you do..try.. lay on your back with a pillow under your butt for about 30 minutes afterwards. Repeat this until about 2 1/2 weeks after the last day of your last period...and it should work better than squeezing in sex the day you ovulate. Sperm can live in the vagina for up to a week, and your eggs only stay "alive" for 24-48 hours after they are released.. so.. start before you ovulate!! Hope this helps!

You just have to keep trying. Don't go for drugs until you have tried for about a year. I have three kids and with the first one I think I got pregnant the first time I tried. With the second & third it took me about 6-8 months to get pregnant each time...I was 33 when I had my youngest.

You also should make sure you are taking really good care of yourself right now. Eat right, plenty of rest & excersize as well as a good multi-vitemine. (I hope my spelling is okay...spell check doesn't seem to be working well tonight.) Good luck and best wishes.

I have been trying for 6 years now. I started infertility testing last year and they found that one of my tubes were folded in half and wrapped with scar tissue. They did a lap and fixed it Jan. 06... my hubby left for Iraq 2 weeks later...he's been home since Sept. 06 and we still aren't preg. My dr won't put me on any fertility drugs but I wish they would so i could think i have a half of a chance. Sorry I don't have any advise for ya, I wish I did. But I just wanted to let you know that it doens't happen when you want it to. Good Luck to you, I hope you get preg soon.

Clomid is different for everybody. One friend got pregnant the first month. Another friend struggled for 9 years. Finally, it took and she has beautiful twin boys. The best answer I can think of is "in due time." Be patient with yourself. You deserve it.

If dropping 10-15 kilos won't make her underweight in accordance to the BMI scale, she'll be high-quality. in actuality, it would additionally be extra useful for her to maintain it off whilst she's attempting to conceive until she will become pregnant. yet she has to lose the load in a healthy way (gazing what she eats and workout, yet *not* crash weight-reduction plan), in the different case she would be in a position to spoil havoc on her hormones and metabolism. good success!

Just because you got + OPK's doesnt mean you are definently ovulating. How long have you been TTC? You could try charting by using sites like Fertilityfriend.com; Babymed.com and Ovusoft.com. I use OPK's and have gotten + results and I never ovulated....I only knew by tracking my BBT(basal body temperature).
