Go for it, but why don't you learn to play real guitar, then you'll be able to play air and real guitar!

Ive done it,...but I also play guitar and I emulate my hand placement pretty accurately.It should kinda be done it private though...it can be embarrasing.But sometimes,I know,you just cant help yourself!
