were finally about to release Let It Be
Ringo came round to visit him to try to talk sense into him, and he throw Ringo out.
He then released the album, along with his declaration that he was leaving the beatles

No he is doing his own music now. He isn't with The Beatles any more. He performed one of his songs at the Super Bowl one year. His solo album could be out now but I wouldn't know since I don't listen to his music.
