I just watched a show about 5 minutes ago where a little girl asked why people called each other names because of their particular race. then she asked, "why do people want to hurt each other?"

sometimes children ask things that no one really can answer.

or do you have an answer?

Aaron

I don't have the answer but I do what you mean, my lil girl asks me kinda the same question and tells me some white kid was mean to her and didn't play with her cause she "looked" different cause she is mixed. It saddens me that even though there are more mixed races than ever that there is still so much hate.

Some people enjoy being assh*les for no adequately explored reason. :S It just gives them a kick to insult people. These insulted people realize that reason is a concept that the insulters are incapable of understanding, and the only way of demonstrating how hurt the insultee is is to physically hurt the insulter. Unfortunate, yes, but there it is.

Some people handle their stress differently than others. When humans are stressed, some meditate, some cry, some pray, some exercise, etc. But, unfortunately, some people take it out on others.

Because people get hurt....it's a cycle...which came first the chicken or the egg...or in this case...which came first...the hurt person or someone doing the hurting...or maybe the person doing the hurting was hurt as well.....it's all a dirty cycle...

Its all a reflection of their up bringing. If they were taught not to judge others, they won't. They will accept them for who they are. If they were taught that others that are diffirent from them skin color. mental challenges, etc. is not acceptable, thats how they will be brought up and believe. The biggest role model in a childs life, is their parents. So, do we blame the child for their beliefs? Or, the parent who taught them to believe it?

I don't have a answer for you. People just hurt each other then forgive each other. It's a part of life.

Because of no self control, or bad manners, or not being brought up right, or ignorance/stupidity, or greed, or being a sadist.

I don't understand it either. Until parents start raising their children to be colorblind, we will always have this problem.
