I have opened the j disk and converted things but when i convert them it says unsupported file help!!

Visit this website and download their program PSP Video 9 totally free of charge if you don't have it already, and for the conversion quality use the profiles marked with "SP" in the beginning. Don't use the ones that say "AVC." The program should convert the files to MPEG-4. Trust me, I have that program and it exponentially enhanced the fun I have on my PSP.

Then i think the Video is not in the right formatted file because the video should be in MPEG-4 to be able to play in the PSP.
