i so have to agree with you on everything. that has to be my favorite movie ever. both heath and jake were fanominal during the whole movie. even though it wasnt true i felt as though sometimes it was real and i would consider that really good acting. it was so sad at the end, every time i watch it i cry. it is so sad to even think about it. i would so give it above a 10! but yes that has to be one of the best or the best love stories ever!

An 8 because it was different from most of the other love stories. It was a new movie idea when everyone else is making remakes of old movies or bad comedies...
It showed all the important things about love that goes unspoken. The caring about someone but not being able to have them for one reason or another. Realizing that you'd give anything to have that person back after they're gone, when you finally figure out that they were the best thing in your life, but you were too stupid to see it.
It's been done in male/female romances as well but I think this drove the ideas home better because they really 'couldn't' be together. If a guy and girl get together and their family or friends doesn't like it, they can move away to where no one knows them and it's all fine. But in homosexual relationships, no matter where you go...people, who don't even know you, will frown on you. It made it so much more emotional, because there was an actual REASON these two people couldn't be together and not just the old, my friends/family hate your friends/ family thing.

I would give it a 9, I think the actors were pretty good, It's a love story period, no matter if they are guys or not, I think it was a great idea to actually show that love can exist from the same sex. Great acting by Jake Gylannhall, Sorry I spelled his name wrong! and Heath Ledger was very good. OVerall i gave it a 9.

The acting was good. The male to male sexual contact a bit more than I could stand to view. Sad ending. My rating: 1.

i would rate it as 1. I would describe it similar to the way i would break up with a very ugly girl. In both instances it would say, "I am Gay" this what the movie was screaming it at me.

I'm from rural Missouri, there are alot of ranches, cattle, ect here. Any real cowboy got hit on by another? The one doing the comeing on would go home beaten, branded, and tied onto his horse. If he weren't killed outright.
