It's a reflection of society in general, only on a larger scale. So there will be both. Though typically the level of knowledge found on internet, generally speaking, versus other mediums such as the local newspaper would tend to be greater. Though here on YA and places like myspace you could probably make a pretty equal comparison with the local paper, especially with the inclusion of the opinion page. ;-)
Still probably more knowledge and truth can be found on the internet than in government, the news media or anything else on TV.

It's a pot of knowledge, with a boiling stew. The stew has some wholesome vegetables and lean beef- the useful information, but it also has fats and cholesterol and chunks of absurdity and falsities swirling around, along side the spices of reason... maybe some cilantro, some curry, boil for 20 to 25 minutes, preheat at 250 F, stir in spices and rice mix until desired tenderness is reached, cover and simmer for an additional 5 minutes. Serve.

I think that there is a wealth of information that can be hidden under the dirt of todays society. It takes a person with a level head to extract the actual facts from fiction. Too many people are gullable and follow the crowd based on a majority. If you are a well rounded individual with a good head on your shoulders then you should be able to distinguish between the lies and the truth.

The internet is the biggest load of time wasting c**p ever invented on God's own earth. The quicker someone scraps it the better for the race. It is turning peoples brains to mush.

I say it depends! Many people use it for good, others use it to do bad. I use it bcuz its my job and it gets the money in my bank account so I guess its a port of knowledge. But really, you got sites like howstuffworks.com which actually teaches you a lot of things.
Then you got your PORN sites which, in a form of entertainment, they r not really teaching you anything new.
So it depends on how you take it.

It depends on how smart you are. If you're smart enough you can dig up information on anything or anyone. If you aren't ... well ... you'll just have to settle with dirt.
