Yes, because compare to the role player the nash and dirk have, they are way better than the role player that the kobe have. If kobe miss a game then the laker would most likely lose, but for nash and dirk team, they could win. The bottom line is that nash and dirk have better player around them.

Why should he? Right now, Dirk is the front-runner for MVP. He's had a stellar season and the Mavs have the best record in the NBA. Nash would be second; the Suns are in second place right now and when Nash is not in the lineup, they aren't even a .500 club. Also, the Suns lead the NBA in team FG% because of Nash's ability to get the ball to the right player at the right time in the right place. Kobe shouldn't even place third; the Lakers are only 33-25. Deron Johnson has had a better season than Kobe; so has DWade (up until his injury), LeBron, Kevin Garnett, and TMac.

I think Kobe has a chance to grab the MVP honor if the Lakers achieve those things. But i also think it depends on what the Mavericks and Suns do for the rest of the year. If the Mavericks keep up what they have been doing though, Dirk Nowitski has got to win the MVP.

Kobe won the MVP last year in the minds of every sports fan except for Nash lovers, he is overrated and doesnt deserve to win the MVP again.

HE could win MVP. But i dont think they will win 50 games because they kinda F'd up their chances by going on that 6 game losing streak. Even though im a Lakers fan its better if he gets Finals MVP.

Kobe should be getting it anyway.
look at his teaam, the few decent players were out forever!
but definitly if they would achieve all that, kobe would get it

oh yeah and steve nash is such a gentleman? in the playoffs he said shizznit to one of kobe's teamates and kobe was about to rip his head off if they didnt hold him back
and hes a bad team mate?
i think not
oh yeah and kobe is gettin 5.5 assists a game at the SG position so he is not a ballhog! he would be getting like 9-10 if his players would catch the ball and knock down open shots!

hoped this helped man
peace

Steve Nash all the way, THE BEST THERE IS, THE BEST THERE WAS, THE BEST THERE EVER WILL BE. come on, do u see what a gentleman steve nash is? then compare him to kobe, just because he lost to steve nash for mvp last year, he almost killed the guy by dunking over him in the playoffs. steve nash is the bestt
