You really can't go wrong with a chiropractor. I've had some of the worst back pain of my life, and after seeing a chiropractor, it's never come back. Good luck!

First make an appoinment with an Attorney ASAP. Then arrange an appointment with your local Chiropractic Doctor, and have an X-Ray done ASAP. Lower back problem are serious, and you might also have sustained a neck injury that is connected to your spinal cord functions and back. Do not excercise or stretch until visiting a doctor, and lawyer. I waited, and then discovered I needed neck-fusion with a hip graft, than in six month the doctor wanted to cut my back that left me a eight inch scar on my spine. Please don't wait to long, talk to an attorney and make that appointment with a Doctor ASAP. I lost thirteen years of my prime life, now I'm 47 and still in severe pain. I discovered happiness, therapy, and honest friend help decrease pain temporarily, but the pain never goes away.

You need to visit your doctor and get in the hands of a therapist. Back injuries can become very serious if left untreated. I cannot advice you anything because I do not know where exactly is the pain in your lower back or what type of pain are we talking about, the wrong exercise can do more harm than good, sorry. Make an appointment with your doctor asap.
Good luck.
Cheers,

I too was in a car accident a few years ago ... got rear-ended while waiting at a traffic light. This screwed up my lower back. Since then, I've tried physio, chiropractic, massage and even accupuncture. Really, the best results I seem to get is by good old-fashioned stretching and exercise.
Play things safe though. Do book an appointment with your doctor and maybe get an x-ray done.

You really should get your back checked out by a doctor if you haven't already. Do take NSAIDS (like motrin) to reduce inflamation and swelling.
