what do you do when stupid people say stuff to you about how you look or dress?

some one did that to me just said you look like a girl under his breath because i have long hair but then i gave him an evil look and then he crossed the street idiot didnt even watchfor cars lol he almost got hit by a car that dumb rapper !!!!!!!!!

I think you did the right thing, lol. I usually stare at them and say nothing. I get called goth constantly because I only wear black, and I prefer metal, cuffs and such. I don't let it get to me, I'd rather have my Tripp skirts than their Rocca Wear any day.

Honestly...no one bothers me for some reason. They do stare though, but they don't bother me. I do notice though, it has a lot to do with what part of the world you live. Where I live, there is EVERYTHING!!! And I mean EVERYTHING! And since I am not too far from Hollywood, there is a lot of people into their music. And they dress the part. I want to move again though. Man, there is everything here in Los Angeles. It can be good but it also can be bad. But people generally leave people a lone. But I do notice when I do go to other city's out of where I live, I do stand out like a sore thumb. It can be uncomfortable. I understand what you mean. I am a confident women, but still..it can be uncomfortable sometimes when you walk in a place and EVERYBODY has turned their head to stare at you..LOL..
