I've always loved him in Big. It was so fun....so 80s. And of course, there's Philadelphia. Less fun, but more moving.

Saving Private Ryan-showed how the D-Day Landing really was and what him and his men went through to get Private Ryan

Forest Gump-I just loved the entire premise of the movie. Even through Forest was not the brightest bulb, he had a wonderful innocence about him that looked at things differently than most people.

The Green Mile-one of the few movies based on a Stephen King book that actually complimented the book.

A League of Their Own-A heartwarming, funny movie. I especially like the line, "Are you crying? There's no crying in baseball". Also the scene where he is peeing in front of all the women is hilarious.

Apollo 13-Even though you knew how it was going to end, I loved the suspense and what those 3 men had to go through up there.

My top fave would have to be Forest Gump -- Tom becomes Forest in this movie and it was so inspiring.
The others on the list that I liked
Saving Private Ryan -- shows the reality of war
Big-- we all need to be a "kid" as much as we can--don't be too serious
You've got Mail -- love the chemistry between him and Meg Ryan and I always love a love story.--so of course I also have to add
Sleepless in Seattle to my list.

Actually there are a few of these that I have not seen. Saving Private Ryan ws such a realistic war movie and very dramatic. Forrest Gump is one of the all time greats in my opinion and I loved Turner and Hooch. I'm going with Forrest Gump!

Forest Gump and Band of Brothers. I do not care for Tom Hanks much since he did The Divinci Code.

1. Saving Private Ryan. I like the movie as a whole. There was a lot of action and the fact that it really happened it was makes it a great movie. Tom Hanks was great. Forrest Gump was great, he made it so real and inspring. Also, Cast Away.

Green Mile... it's heartwarming, sad, happy, maddening, etc. it envokes all the different emotions and leaves the most memories of it.. i can't really remember much of any of the other movies- except of course on Forrest Gump "life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you gonna get" but that has been over-televised and populated. So the whole story line, actors, feelings, etc. of the Green Mile is alot better than all the rest. I love it! ♥
