Isreal denied trying to get U.S permission to fly through Iraqi airspace to bomb Iran. The top U.S intelligence official said that Iran is training anti-American Iraqi Shi'ites at sites in Iran and Lebannon in the use of armor-piercing munitions. The deputy chief of Hezbollah announced that it would not interfere if the U.S. and Israel attack Iran. Most U.S. intelligence shared with the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) on Iran proved to be inaccurate.

Let's just say, for the sake of the argument, that most of U.S. intelligence on Iran is inaccurate, would that mean that Iran is not training anti-American Shi'ites?

If the deputy chief of Hezbollah said that they don't want to get involved with an Iran-U.S-Israeli conflict, than why do the pro-Iranians train anti-American Shi'ites? Israel already attacked them before, what's going to stop them from attacking if they are helping Iran? He warns that any "millitary adventure" by the United States and Israel against Iran....

It is possible that a Gulf of Tonkin type incident will set off a conflict in the Persian Gulf. In the persian Gulf, the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower carrier group is being supplemented by the USS John Stennis carrier group. Maintaining two carrier groups and support vessels in the Persian Gulf is hugely expensive, so once all the components for an attack are in place, there will be incentive to use them. A Kuwaiti newspaper, relying on confidential sources in the Emirate's government, predicts that the attack will take place before the first week of April.

The carrier aircraft, useless against insurgents and terrorists in Iraq, can only be employed in a war with Iran, while the minesweepers would be needed to keep clear the Strait of Hormuz for oil tankers and other shipping.

no, i do not think Iran dare to attack first.
they would be bombed to dust, if they did so.

and i think the one attack iran will likely be isreal with the USA supporting in the background.
why?
now JWBush realize that he did a supper stupid mistake by finish off saddam. we all are seeing the out come of iraq with out saddam.
it is totally out of the american hand.
saddam is the most important balance of power between many small groups in iraq and the most important he is the balance between iraq as a country and iran.

with out saddam, we are seeing a big chunk of iraqi want to go with iran. iraq have a lot of OIL preserve. the USA know it.
and it would be even more stupid if the US let that happen.
if the US leave with out destroy iran, soon iraq will fall to iran's hand. and that is a lot of oil (too much oil) to loose.
Bush will not let it happen. if he destroy saddam, he "MUST" also destroy iran.

but he can not do it by him self now. the American will never let Bush go to another war. then israel will do the job for him. Israel's style will just go ahead and destroy. they will not stay and help to rebuild after war. they will make sure that the enemy can not come back anywhere close to Iraq for many many year. look at southern Lebanon as a good sample. israel left million of bomblets there. people can not go back in, so basically it make the south uninhabited.

i quite sure., the iran will be destroy before bush finish his term.
the Iranian persuade of its nuclear power will just quicken the war to occur sooner, not thing more.
