generally, yes. an unskilled but enthusiast person can learn the needed skills and employ them far better than an unenthusiastic person who abhors the assigned tasks.

Absolutely not.

I'm really enthusiastic about brain surgery, but I don't think that would be any comfort to someone since I have no actual training in that field.

I think I'll put the bone drill down and just enjoy a nice cold bottle of Colt 45.
