You received a lot of good suggestions for getting seen by a doc without health ins. You can also see, if you are eligible for medi-cal. If you're a student, most colleges have free health care & can direct you to other sources.

I'd check for a Planned Parenthood or your county health department. You might check into state-funded programs where you can see another OB-GYN (I'm sure the county health department would have plenty of information). Good luck.

i dont know about your specific area,,,, but a couple of options you might want to consider, is contacting your health department, they often have a list of physicians who take people with no or little insurance,,,,,,, and, depending on your income, you might could qualify for medicaid,,,,,, most pregnant women do,,,,,
and they can recommend physicians also, so contact family and childrens services
after you get a list of potential doctors, then you can check around about their reputation,,,,

Try any sexual health clinic. Try any teaching hospital.
But, you also need to understand that any GP can deal with any problems, but not with PROBLEMS. For those, you will be referred appropriately.
That's true about any medical issue, not just about women's health. That's also how to begin to lower medical costs.
