not sure what you mean "get out"
did you file and change your mind?
You can retract the filing.
The proccess time :was 4 months but that was before the law changed-may be different now.
How long does it stay on your credit report 7-10 years
but that doesnt mean you cant get credit after a while
youul just pay more
suggest you keep a couple of credit cards off the filing If you still can
then youul have em on the back side and go on

I'm not sure what you meant by "getting out" of bankruptcy. If you mean getting a discharge, it takes about 4 months in most Chapter 7 cases. In a Chapter 13, you get a discharge once you have pay all the plan payments or you can voluntarily dismiss your case. It is very difficult to withdraw a Chapter 7 case once you have filed and you need to file a motion to get the judge's permission to do so.

Make your monthly payments. If possible, make higher payments than required so you can get out of debt faster. Get a second job, sell anything that is a luxury and give those funds towards paying off your debt. Make sure that you put a reasonable budget together or your bankruptcy trustee's clerk will see to it that you don't have any money for lavish wants. Use coupons at the grocery store.
