I'm not really that compelled by his story.

A big rich TV reporter (who comes from a family of big rich TV reporters) gets a head full of shrapnel in Iraq, and, thanks to his family connections, he gets the best medical care the military can offer, followed by the best rehab his family's money and NBC Universal's indemnity health coverage policy can buy.

So what?

What about all those Iraqi kids who don't get jetted off to Walter Reed when they get traumatic head wounds?

They just get shoved into the back of a beat up 20 year old Baghdad Fire Brigade Kamaz ambulance and driven to an overcrowded hospital emergency room that, thanks to President Clinton's sanctions on Iraq during the 1990's, still has to make do with 1980's medical technology.

If they survive, they do NOT get plastic surgery, or rehab - they just get to be a cripple with a disfigured face!!!

How about a special on THEM, rather than on this priviliged guy who will get the best of care for the rest of his life???

No, as thankful as I am that he is doing great, I see enough and hear enough about the war that I don't need to watch a whole special about it.

I already watched them both. It's amazing to see how far he's come. His wife is so strong & they have beautiful kids.
