In order to answer this question accordingly I need to ask which types of herbals or you experimenting with? I take Discorea root (wild yam) to supplement my lack of progesterone which exacerbates in fluctuation of estrogen and testosterone levels keeping an ovarian cyst from disappearing altogether. It will never completely dissolve and I have avoided, gracefully under pressure and pain, surgical removal of the affected parts by treating my symptomology with herbals and homeopathic alternative methods such as aromatherapy, hydrotherapy, Reiki and meditation. Would like to hear updates on how you are doing and hope I have helped some.

sharing the light,

Early menopause as a result of the hysterectomy and hormonal difficulties. Ask your doc for something that might help. If you don't like what he/she has to say, why not consult an alternative medicine doc. They could provide you with efficacy information and accurate dosing information regarding any herbs or vitamins that might be helpful.

In terms of why more night sweats than hot flashes during the day?? Individual variability.

Some people never have hot flashes while others have tons and some never have night sweats while other have them a lot. There is no specific cause for this, I had night sweats for a couple years but literally no hot flashes. I would get a bit warm once in a great while but not super hot flash where I felt I wanted to jump out of my clothes.

Certainly, have a complete hysterectomy pushes you into menopause. There is no one answer for you question, it is the way your body is reacting to the loss of hormones produces by your reproductive system.
I remember being in Mexico & Hawaii because of the heat & humidity, I didn't experience any hot flashes or night sweats. :)
