oI would say Kobe to this day. Kobe has gone through all the steps of showing a great player. He has won championships, scoring titles, MVPS (all star game), and is currently doing a amazing job rebuilding the Lakers. He has overcome great amounts of pressure when Shaq left and has handled it very well. D-Wade and Lebron are both great players as well but D-Wade hasn't bad situation with the Heat, like Shaq is out and there 50% team. The Lakers have had injuries the whole entire year and there a 65% team. And Lebron just hasn't taken his team to the next level. Keep in mind, Kobe can be considered the most well rounded player ever on the offensive side of the court and has still be on the All Defensive team many years.
KOBE = COMPLETE PACKAGE

Wow! no one has insulted kobe yet. GASP! Actually it's funny to me how kobe has been playing for 11 years and he still not even close to MJ, but lebron and dwyane wade can come up here and all the sudden there already on top. They haven't done half the things Kobe has and D.Wade is not a finisher so there you have it

I'd have to say DWade (and I'm a life-long Lakers fan). LeBron did elevate his game last season and led the Cavs to the second round (more than Jordan did is his first three years). Kobe has rings but they were earned on the back of Shaq and a fairly strong team. DWade carried Marquette into the Final Four when he was a junior, carried the Heat to the second round of the playoffs in his rookie year (which Jordan couldn't do in his first three years), to the conference finals in his second year and the NBA title in his third year.

Potential...that's what it comes down to.Right now Kobe is the best basketball player in the NBA.His whole game is more complete and more fundamentally sound then anyone.Add in his love for the game and his age(28)he still has a seven year window to play at the top of his game.
Now with lebron, he is only 21 and his game is all ready close to bieng complete.If he puts in work , he can become the best ever!..if not then he's Dominique Wilkins part 2(highlight film waiting to happen)that's it.

Lebron hands down. He can pass shoot dribble drive. and he's strong. He is the prototype player. Wade has everything but lacks power, Kobe is also the same but lack power and wade and Kobe are more prone to injury.

Wade = Kobe it rather is debateable, i would be unable to easily say Wade or Kobe is greater advantageous than the different Lebron > Artest palms down. Artest would be unable to lock him down like he did Paul Pierce Bosh > Gasol- Gasol is basically too gentle of a participant

Wade is better. 2006 Finals should tell it all! Kobe or Lebron never performed so great!

I think LeBron James is better because he is a great player. He has the most explosive dunks in the NBA. He as been a all star 3 times straight. he can control the game all by his self.

kobe..ok, let's break it down why...
first, let's take out the less determined player...lebron out....
then out of kobe and wade, kobe has the edge, coz he's bigger and has more experience. moreover, with the way dwade is playing (he plays with all of his heart out...means...he doesn't care what happen to his body )....kobe will win in a long run....
