YES!!!

I have been watching 24 Hours on DVD lately. Y'know how they have the time counts at commerical? Regularly, the commercial breaks last 4 to 6 minutes, with 4 to 5 breaks per episode. Though some breaks have been as long as 8 minutes. Absolutely insane.

And don't get me started on the fact that now they're playing commercials in the theaters, where I PAY to watch them!
Grrrrrr!!

This will date me, but back in the early 70's, I can remember when there was a commercial at every quarter hour and usually 2-3 minutes if I remember right. Each lasting approx. 30 seconds long.

Yes there are. Before, one commercial was supposed to be 15 seconds and now just one can be minutes long!! You see more commercials than the actual program!!

I agree.

Just think...if there weren't mindless idiots who see a commercial and say, oh boy I need that...then goes out & buys it, there wouldn't be commercials.
