Find somebody making that kind of money and figure out what education/training/experiences you need to have that job. Do those things.
You can usually make more working for yourself if you have any kind of enterpreneurial spirit than you can working for somebody else.

For 18 yrs old with no college degree. $40K is a pretty decent salary.
You want to make big bucks, University is the way to go.
Otherwise you can try sales (high commission) but you have to really exceed sales targets and in a company that doesn't cap it's commissions.
There's always King crab fishing in Alaska They make approx $70K in 4 to 5 months and then just take a part time ($30K) job when you return.

Since you are earning a commission, I assume that you are in a sales position. If this is true than 100K is not that hard. You simply need to go into a sales field that will allow you to earn 100k. My choice is real estate, but there are many out there. If you happen to be in San Diego, I'll show you how, just e-mail me.

let's be realistic, seeing that you make $40,000 @18 years old,
what is your problem? when you start to make the $100,000 mark
are you going to ask later "i make $100,000 how do i make $500,000? you make as much as you can as you are marketable and worth what you are being paid period. the better educated that you are and the more experienced you are in the field that you choose, the better your market value, the value is based
though on other potential candidates in the same field as you.

Go back to school for either a MBA, a law degree, or try to get into Medical school. Most doctors, lawyers, and business executives make 100,000 a year or more.

Well, you can try your hand at other sales related jobs like real estate (good time in large growing urban areas).
