Yes! And just because someone tells me they aren't, or they're married doesn't make them not gay in my book. A lot of people are closeted for life.
There's a prisoner I work with that doesn't "know" he's gay. He's like the biggest gay bear of all time. One day he'll make some little man happy, one sweet day...

Yes! There was a woman I worked with and I was sure she had a "crush" on me. It was very awkward. So, she asked me to lunch one day and I thought - I'm going to go with her and nip it in the bud - if she asks me out, that's my opportunity to tell her I'm not gay and not interested. As it turns out she was married with a child! We wound up being good friends and kept in touch for awhile even after she left the company.

' suspected' wouldn't be my word of choice, but if i had chosen to 'guess' at somone's orientation, i would have guessed wrong a few times. i'm straight, and it doesn't bother me what preference another has. just don't hit on me or be a prancer, and you're ok in my book.

yes, but not really a big deal. . . .just found out he had a wife and three kids. . . .of course that does not necessarily mean that he is not gay.
