but i'm young so this will help me in the long run, but i will not be able to see my family alot this summer? I feel bad but it's my job that will make my career take off...?

personally i think its wrong. your family should always be #1 on your list. if you put things above them youre not doin your job. whats more important to you? your family or your job? if you said job then i think you have some serious issues. your family should always come first.

what kind of family? if its your wife and kids, yes, feel horrible, because they will be all you have in the end.... you could lose a limb and not be able to do your job anymore, then who would you have?? but if you mean like your mom and dad, no, do what ever makes you happy, they were here to raise you on up, and now your a free bird. always love them.

Are you talking parents, or, wife and kids? Parents expect their kids to leave the nest and make a life for themselves. But, it's a whole lot different if it's the wife and kids. They would need you more than you know.

I think it is bad because it is your family hang with your family and do your job. it cant hurt.
