San Marco Outlet Stores?

Question

Anyone ever gone to the outlet stores in San Marco? I am going to San Antonio for a few days and would like to know the best, cheapest, fastest way to get there from San Antonio and would like to avoid driving myself.

I'm not sure if there is a shuttle service that goes out there from San Antonio.

The outlets are owned by Tanger Outlets, they probably have a website that you can check out to see. If you are staying in a hotel, they may have a shuttle too. Depending on what part of SA you are going to be staying in, the drive can be 30 - 45 minutes. It is a straight shot North on IH 35, so it's very easy to find if you do end up having to drive yourself. If you do drive yourself, try to go in between the rush hours. there are quite a few people who travel from SA to Austin for work and from New Braunfels to SA for work an d35 is under perpetual construction, although it has been better on the construction lately.

That's San Marcus :). Take Hwy 35. It's so easy to find, so you should not have a problem finding it. It's right on the feeder so you can see it as you approach. It looks like a great big spread out castle. Spend the day there. I went there last summer and it was great. Wear comfy shoes! I don't remember the exit, sorry.

Check out one of the area travel agents. They often have shuttle busses that run once every weekend to the outlets.

The outlet stores is a joke. Things are not as cheap as you think they are. It's pretty much an outdoor mall. Can you please edit your question and let us know exactly why you're going there? Please don't tell me it's for their bargains.
