It depends but to get ur phd it take 5 years usually then there is like 3 years of internship

It depends on what state or province you live in. In most places you need to have a PhD or a PsyD, which is at least 4 years of grad school. Some states or provinces, like Alberta, only require a Masters degree to be a practicing psychologist.

It just depends on how good you are at doing it.
I mean you can go to school for 20 years and still not be any good at it.
You'll just have some piece of pretty paper to hang on the wall that costs you a lot of money.

It usually takes 2 years to earn a masters in psych.
