i just finished with the book and it was really good but it made me cry for an hour, but there was'nt any magic in the book like the prieview to the movie? tell me was there any magic in the movie?
im afraid if i see the movie it will ruin the book?

I saw the movie this weekend. I thought it was really well done. There wasn't any magic in the movie. It was very clever how they made their imagination come alive. Very true to the book I thought.
I did not think it ruined the book. I think the author would be proud of the movie.

Yes, the movie does have some imaginative, magical scenes, but No, it did not ruin the movie. I also loved the book and was worried about the movie ruining the story (as soon as I heard about it, I started nitpicking the differences), but after seeing it, I have to say the filmakers did a very good job adapting it to the screen. The more imaginative scenes helped to show us the kind of magical world Jess and Leslie created for themselves, whereas in the book, this part is left to you, the reader. Of course, the movie is just one interpretation of Terabithia, but it was a well-done one. I think you should give the movie a chance, it really was very good!

The movie is nothing like the previews said it was, trust me. There were barly any fighting scenes and most of the time they were at school. Go watch Ghost Rider instead that was a really good movie.

YES! I LOVED IT! I thought it was going to be any dumb kids movie where I take my daughter and end up going to sleep but no I was wrong. For everyone that says it's not their kind of movie or whatever I suggest to watch it. I really enjoyed it. And yes be prepared to cry again!

well the magic is the imagination so i guess but it follows the book alomost to the T...but be prepared to cry again...I still cry thinking about it...The movie was soo amazing u should see it, it won't ruin the book...Promise...

no no no! go see the movie! it really goes with the book and theres not TOO much magic in it. pretty much whats on the previews is the whole movie. and omg when she dies i want to hug josh hutcherson!!!!
