Peavey makes their own strings and most likely puts them on their new guitars at the factory. As for other brands, I've never cared for Ernie Balls. Dean Markley's are better, but about the same league. If you can't find the Peavey strings, D'Addario makes a very good, reasonably priced string. You may want to give them a shot. If you really want to treat yourself, pick up some DR strings. They're more expensive, but they really do sound better. Some people swear by Elixirs, but I've never much cared for coated strings. They're too expensive and don't sound quite right to me. The DR strings last just about as long and sound much better to my mind. Just wipe the guitar down after playing and they'll be fine.

Some other considerations: check your string gauge... if you put too light a gauge on, that may be part of the problem. 10s or 11s will give a better, fuller tone. Another thing you want to look at is the metal... stainless steel strings were popular for a while, but they sound fakely bright and tend to eat up your frets. The regular nickel-steel wound ones are better sounding and kinder to the guitar.

Also, brand new strings can tend to be a bit too bright. You may just need to play them in for a couple of weeks. One trick is to stretch the strings (pull them up an inch or so at the 12th fret) and then retune. They'll settle in and mellow a little faster that way.

Hope that helps!

EDIT: To inform those not in the know, Peavey has made some very decent guitars (and even better basses) over the years. Eddie Van Halen had a signature guitar with Peavey for nearly a decade. Some may "reccomend a fender strat or a gibson epiphone"; however, with the many changes in build and quality of the Strat (meaning most are cheaply made under contract by foreign builders in Korea, Indonesia, and Mexico), there aren't many advantages with such a generic recommendation. And Epiphone is not a model made by Gibson but rather a rival company purchased in the 1950s and now used as a brand name relegated almost exclusively to cheap knock-offs of Gibson manufactured by various other companies like Samick. Regardless, neither of these "reccomend"-ations answers the question about the brand of string, nor do they provide a valid improvement over a Peavey.

No, regrettably u won't be able to. If their in track, then it potential their action is meant to be low like that. If not in track, track them, and that they hsould be high-quality. yet for destiny references, you like a track-o-matic bridge to be waiting to alter their action (distance from neck)
