I Need Help With Child Support Question?

I just thought about this the other day, I havn't seen my father for 14 years and I saw him for the first time I can remember a couple of months ago at the movies with my mom and little brother. Enough bout the pasat, I need to know how much child support does he owe if he ain't pay for 14 years? And also if I want the money, do I have to sue him?

if there was a child support order, then yes he owes it.

but your mother would have to sue for it. call your county court clerks office and ask for the child support dept. they will steer you in the direction you need to go. then call them and ask your questions about it.

you can go on line in your state and find out about the laws. how much support was he suppose to send each month and times that by 14 yrs. there are places you can go in your town that will help with this(social services) to get this started. good luck to you and i'm sorry you had a dead beat dad. been there.

your mom would have to go to the child support office and file and claim. then if it went through, she would get the money for supporting and feeding you, not you.
