It practically means you'd practically know what it meant if you'd practically take a look at a dictionary now and then, if that's not practical enough for you then maybe you should practically not ask the question, but ask it just enough so that someone guesses that you are not just practically asking the question but fully asking it one hundred percent since that would be the most practical thing you could do at this juncture.

practical means that an object, action, or an idea is suitable for a purpose. usually, we think of things that can be easily used in day to day life as "practical."
for example....
it's practical to purchase a laptop computer if you are a student; you can use it for research and study.
it is impractical to buy a car if you can't even pay your rent.
it's practical to bring plastic grocery bags with you when you walk your dog. you might need to scoop up its waste.
it's impractical to own a dog if you live in an apartment - especially if the apartment is small. a dog needs a yard to roam around in.
make sense?
a simple way to think of it as...practical = common sense good idea

It means LOGICAL or OF PRACTICE.
Things are not practical if they have little use to one's life.
An example: "Buying this game is not practical since you cannot spend all your time playing it, or you do not like video games."
