I am 54 years old and my wife is 51 years old. She loves me so much. I only like her, not love her. We been together for at least 30+ years. I never had children with her but I did made love to her since I was 28 years old. She fell shortly to a terminal accident. I never fell in love with her. I told her "I love you" so many times I cannot even count. I never fell in love with her. I didn't leave her because I didn;t want to be sad if she had died (died at age 51). I can imagine myself leaving her and not being sad. When she died, she told me that she was very happy to have met me in her life. I don't feel bad at all for her death. At least, she knew I love her before she died even though that isn't true. I had to fake crying on her funeral to let her family think that I am sad but really, I am not sad. Am I truly evil? now that she is gone, I want to start dating again, Any tips on how to get a girlfriend at age 54?

It sounds like you just wanted to get that off your chest and have someone reassure you that you're not a bad person, because I don't see how it relates to your "real" question about dating tips. I would recommend talking to a counselor to help you get rid of guilt before considering a new relationship, because baggage like that can sour a new relationship.
Dating at 54 can't be that much different than at 24, go to places to meet people, join clubs, groups, leagues, things like that, and if you meet someone, just ask her out. Simple.

No, you are not evil, but i believe you should have told her a long time ago that you didn't love her. you would have saved many years for the lies she lived in with you, and you could have found your true love. and about geting a girl friend at 54, just go online or ask some of your friends about it. you have a pretty good heart for putting up with someone you did not love, so rock on! and good luck

sounds like you cared quite a bit otherwise you would have screwed on her, if your going to enter the dating world, first to be sure you don't look like a complete jerk. wait a bit, join some places to meet women, clubs or on line, and above all, be honest, but If i were you I wouldn't disclose I fake cried at her funeral, cause I would start wondering about your honesty right there.
If you have success let me khow, I'm in the same boat in the same age range

Well, at least you stuck by her, and she felt she was loved...You are being honest...I have found dating from the Internet very safe and married a man who loves me and I love him back very much...I joined match.com and we found each other through there...I would meet my dates in a mall, very public place, and decide whether they were worth an evening of my time...I kept my dates very public....never gave my address to them or had them pick me up at my home, until I felt comfortable with them...There is a safe way to meet people on line...and you will have plenty of beautiful souls to choose from...
