It does not really matter where you live as long as you live in the Continental U.S. The suggested retail price is $299 for Xbox360 Basic and $399 for Xbox360 Plus ( this comes with a bunch of things). EB games/Gamestop sells it for the suggested price but Target/Best Buy/ Walmart (those big outlets) usually mark off 10-20$. Buy a playstation3 or a wii. Its the best and a Xbox 360 can have problems easily and I think you can only play with it on a plasma TV.

I would say about $450. You should get a ps3 they have more features than the xbox360, better graphics, don't have overheating problems like the 360. To tell you more, the ps3 should cost 1,000 bucks instead of $500, the blurayplayer alone costs more than $400 bucks plus it can also read normal dvd's and cd's. Has a processor that's like 3x better than the 360 so buy a ps3, i'm sure that if you buy it you'll be very happy.
