I am almost 28 years old working in the financial industry. I recently started going to college @ night and my company pays for it. I feel like these are good things about my job, but I just feel like the path I am headed down is no the one I want. I started working in an office enviroment when I was 19 with the exception of 4 months. So, basically it's all I know. It's been really hard for me to concentrate on school b/c I have just lost interest. It's hard for me to work in the industry I work b/c I am an Idealist. Making money and the bottom line just don't cut it for me anymore. I have recently started having sleep loss just thinking about my future.

I don't feel like I am the only one though with these type of problems. My parents generation would devote their life to a company in hopes of a good pension. Of course this has changed.

With all the uncetainies of the world's future do you think people are starting to have mid life crisis early in live?

Everyone I know has gone through a crisis about age 30. It's called "Is This All There Is?"

The crisis lasts about 2 years, and you may need anti-depressants, tranquillizers and therapy, but there's a light at the end of the tunnel, don't worry...

Biologically, early and mid 20s is the "superb" time in view that there are the fewest unfavorable aspects of problems and girls are on the top of fertility. yet in right now's society, it style of feels that the previous due 20s and early 30s are the wonderful time, because of the fact human beings are staying in college longer (going to college and oftentimes earning extra desirable than purely a 4-3 hundred and sixty 5 days degree too) and getting their careers in place first until now having little ones. It was once you're able to get a job good out of highschool and help a kin, even however that's in comparison to that anymore, and you somewhat want a school degree to make adequate money. previous due 20s and early 30s is previous due adequate to the place you will get those issues performed, yet nevertheless early adequate to the place you do not likely desire to be concerned approximately infertility or problems. Fertility might start to say no slightly at 30, even yet it oftentimes would not start up happening lots until 35. unfavorable aspects of problems additionally bypass up slightly at 35, and by potential of age 40 you may actually be seen a intense-danger being pregnant. I surely have conventional a number of women folk who had completely healthy pregnancies and babies of their previous due 30s, yet i does not have little ones everywhere previous that component.

I think you are very right about worrying about your career and where its going. Dont do something foolish like quit your job just yet, though. Try exploring other options and career paths before you make a dramatic change.
