Hate to g here. But when I think of the prevailing attitude of middle school girls, whose parents were influenced by Mr. Clinton... Oral sex is now on par with a hand shake and if you want to be popular, you'll do it? I'd say that's influence!

Aside from that,

Jefferson -- ended the piracy on the Barbary Coast and we're still aguing to this day, his intent of the 1st Ammendment, "Freedom of Religion."

Lincoln -- fought to save the union and in so doing ended the institution of slavery. And, was unable to institute his post war policy to bring the newly freed blacks up to speed both educationally as well as economically and introduce them to their new found civil liberties...

Woodrow Wilson -- who inadvertantly set the stage for WW II and all of the cold war of the twentieth century, with his "Treaty of Versaille" ending the first world war.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt -- who single handedly made more institutional changes that not only brought this country out of "the Great Depression," but also brought us as close as we could ever get to being a communist country without giving up our democratic republic, whose foreign policy also invited our enemies to attack us, thus drawing us into the second world war and in turn strengthened our economy so that by war's end, we'd find ourselves a world superpower.
