I have this really good friend, Madison*. She is pretty, nice, nice, nice, really nice, funny, nice, and she treats me really well!
My current best friend Sara* is nice too! She sometimes treats me like crap, but we are like soul sisters. She is what a best friend could ever be. She is really honost, and funny, and we've been best friends forever. Me and Madison are becoming really, really good friends. I mean were like tight! She is comming over to my house for a sleepover next weekend, and i'm actually really excited! Madison is becoming my best, best friend!
I sorta wish I had never met Sara, because me and Madison are wayyyyy more closer then me and Sara ever were. Plus, Madison is MUCH more nicer.Me and Sara got into a fight today, and were not talking.Should i make up with her, and just not be as close?
Like should I not do as much stuff with her anymore? What i'm trying to say is, i dont want Sara as my best friend anymore. None, notch, no more.
MORE INFO COMMING!

don't be so quick to trade out sara for madison. you may regret later losing such a close relationship with sara. like they say, it's nice to have new friends but keep your old ones too. try being close with BOTH of them. do you really have to have only one best friend? why can't you have several? try it. work things out with sara. if you feel you two are "drifting apart" and it feels better that way, then keep it at that. but don't completely disconnect yourself from sara. i've done that myself, and i still regret it. you can end up really hurting someone's feelings. i've done it. it feels horrible. don't make that mistake

good luck, i hope i helped some

Actually this happened to me,and i was in Madison's situation.
But in my case, we all realized it except for Sara. One day, my currently permanent best friend(Zack) who stands for ur situation, met me and told what she felt about it. I admit the same feeling.

And telling u that i also had this same problem two years before this one. It's all about jealousy, i knew it then.

I told Zack, she should also discuss it with bystand Sara. She straightly went to see her and talked about it with the tears she produced when she first admitted it to me.
Zack ddn't tell Sara she don't want to befriend her but she said to Sara that Sara can possibly understand her situation.
Sara did.

I also have to tell u that some are meant to have so many friends in their big heart but some will be just fine with one they could-not-live-without.
Zack, she's my one and only. The same as her to me, i told bc she told me.
To Sara, she got plenty of friends inside her.
