He was a powerhouse, though I agree with Simon that he can be better still. I think Sanjaya and Brandon are going home. The two Chrises were fantastic. Chris Sligh will never have stage presence, and he stole his hairstyle from Sideshow Bob, but his voice stands out. Chris Richardson really performed tonight. I forgot that I was watching American Idol; for a minute and a half I was watching a seasoned performer wow the audience.
Much better this week, guys. Now, ladies, it's your turn to be even better. Don't do like they did the last two seasons and relax the second week.

I really liked AJ's performance. Blake was awesome, too! I think that Blake is the best guy, overall.
