I wish I knew.
I wish I could ask my brother - he used and sold crystal methamphetamines for 10 years.
Unfortunately, he's not here to tell me the answer - he died last June, at the age of 41, due to the long term toxic affects of excessive alcohol, cocaine and methamphetamines use.
The nearest I can figure is that, when they're "tweaking" they don't think of the long term consequences.

They become addicted to meth and they can't stop taking it even if if made their teeth black or for any other reason.

I don't think a Meth head is to concerned with how their teeth look.

They don't care. Meth addicts, crack heads, junkies of any kind gave up on the way they look a long time ago, they just want to get high

When they start it, most of the time do it just to try it and find out that they like it and will do again, then again, then again and again and again until they are hooked and do not care what happens...all that matters is the next high..... most addictive drug ever, does not take much for person to get addicted.

maybe they're too depressed to care.
I would think someone would have to be depressed or troubled in a way to do highly addictive drugs.

When you're an addict you don't even think about stuff like that.An addict is too busy scheming for their next high.

I know someone who had a heart attack in his twenties because of that crap. sorry to be a buzz kill but I almost lost a friend.
