What would you do in the Middle East?

I think a major problem we will continue to have is the lack of cooperation from moderate muslims. If they had taken care of their own problem in the first place, we wouldn't have to be there now.

I would like to see us;

1. Put a SERIOUS effort towards finding alternative fuel sources. Yes, that means George Bush has to get away from helping his oil buddies.
2. Instead of letting the war be run by PC politicians, have the military do what it takes to destroy the Taliban and ANYBODY putting forward a threat towards the United States.
3. Start to pull out of government building and funding business in the Middle East outside of Israel.
4. Only do a bare minimum of humanitarian aide. It's not ever appreciated anyway, so why put our people in harms way.

5. Seriously limit the amount of immigration allowed into the United States. Fully prosecute illegal aliens.
6. Make RADICAL islam illegal in the United States. Obviously, moderate muslims will still be able to pray and do their mosque thing, but No women in beekeeper outfits getting drivers licenses. No five breaks a day at work for prayer services. No abuse of women under the auspices of islam allowed.
7. If Americans insist on traveling to any Country in the Middle East other than Israel, they will need to sign a waiver. We cannot be responsible for what will happen to them in another untamable culture. This will make it clear there will be NO hostage negotiations.
8. When applying for US citizenship, citizens from any other countries other than islamic countries will be given preference.

I have to agree. People complain that we are stopping muslims in airports and such, yet can you imagine if we didn't? Isn't a half an hour hold up on a flight better than a repeat of 9/11? Besides, in WWII, the Japanese in our country went into relocation camps. They were proud americans, and sacrificed themselves for the safety of the country. If you want to be here, shouldn't you be ready for that?

Easy. What we should have done with Saddam. Take out any regime who supports terror in any way, through shock and awe and then leave. If another comes to power that supports terror, repeat step a.

I would give Delaware to Israel and have all Israeli citizens move there (paid for by the US Govt.).
