I don't appreciate her putting herself out there as an expert on relationships, marriage and children, when she has neither. Where was Stedman at the opening of the Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa? He is no man. He makes a cameo appearance once in a while and jumps when she says so. When is she going to do something for boys? You can't deny she has given money to Jewish girl schools here, boys and girls club in her hometown and black colleges for women here. She is an outstanding philantropist and generous but something doesn't strike me as her being motivated by unselfishness but by a need to CONTROL everyone.

Yes. Oprah is a good person period. She is positive, giving, smart and a survivor. She gives of herself in so many ways. I admire her for her spirit and her will to continue to give no matter what people think. I say, "You GO Oprah, leave all the nay sayers right where they are". Let your positive spirit rise above those who want you to be what they think you should be. You do you, because its working out just fine. She is a very good influence for community service.

I think Oprah would be a better influence on the comminity if she did as much for those who are in need right here in the USA...The world all over needs help, I know, but there are many who could use the kind of help she is giving to Africa right in her own neighborhood....

yes and no, sometimes when she does charitable work and you get all emotional about it, you really think that she is an asset to society. Then sometimes, she does stupid stuff like buy everyone cars, or fly all her celeb friends to a private island resort. I think she can flaunt her money a little too much, and that she can do more for those less fortunate. She does do a lot however, but all that money she is giving her celeb friends that don't need it? I don't know....

yes i do. she is amazing she does so much for the less fortunate and seems to be a very down to earth type person. I would like to meet her some day. i think we can all learn from her as far as helping our fellow neighbors out. imagine if we all did one little thing to help each other out i think america could get back to what it was when i was growing up.

Yes because she's a good example of how hard work pays off. And she's an even better example of how one should give back just as much as one gets.

no... she is an arrogant, pompous, ***... she reminds me of the kids in school who starved for attention, and always did things to make people look at them... there is nothing heart-felt about what she does... it is all a way to make herself feel like she's worth a crap....
