It doesn't have a lot of funding, it's mostly a lot of citizens who are against the war. I have been against the war from the beginning.
You can't wage a war on the cheap and you can't defeat an enemy without sealing the borders and disarming it's military. I told everyone Iraq would fall like a house of cards and then pick off our soldiers almost at will. The terrorists are loving it. What a stupid blunder on our part. And we enabled the Shia's to take control of Iraq. That was the biggest mistake. The war could have been a success if planned with a little intelligence.

The KGB and GRU(Soviet Military Intelligence) donated over $1 billion US dollars to the Anti-War Movement in 1960's and 70's through the the Communist Party USA and other groups. According to Soviet defector Stansilav Lunev the funding of the anti-Vietnam War movement was the single greatness investment that the Soviet Intelligence achieved. According to Oleg Kalukin "the Soviet intelligence was really unparalleled. ... The KGB programs -- which would run all sorts of congresses, peace congresses, youth congresses, festivals, women's movements, trade union movements, campaigns against U.S. missiles in Europe, campaigns against neutron weapons, allegations that AIDS ... was invented by the CIA ... all sorts of forgeries and faked material -- [were] targeted at politicians, the academic community, at the public at large."
