can i watch a video on my DVD player if the file is in .MP3 format?

I want to watch a movie on my DVD player that i burned off the internet, and it will only work with MP3 format.

If i convert my movie to MP3 format, will I be able to watch and listen to my movie on my DVD player?

videos aren't in mp3 format...
