No, it's not healthy. Your body cannot digest hair. Just ask a cat - it has to cough up hairballs, or it dies.
I have a family member who suffers from trichotillomania, a serious compulsion in which the person pulls out their own hair and often chews on it as well... done lots of research on this.

no. ive seen on tv once, this girl was eating/chewing on her hair constantly since she was little without realizing it. and she started getting stomach pains getting older and didnt know why until she went to the doctors. and there was a huge hairball inside bigger than her stomach damaging the organs inside her. i suggest not eating your hair.

No, If you eat a bunch of your hair then it will get in your stomach. You will probably form hair balls and cough them up. Any ways it's disgusting.
