Those are some very rigorous words.

I want to know if the word is used correctly (as in...can you say rigorous 'words') because my sister said you don't use rigorous to describe words...but anyways...is the sentence correct.

I would not use "rigorous" to describe words. Rigorous is used in terms of strenuous activity. Instead I would use a term such as "challenging" or "intellectual" or "difficult."

I haven't come across the usage 'rigorous words'. Rigor means severe or harsh. Though technically the usage 'rigorous words' may not be wrong, it sounds a bit odd. Maybe you can try the known expression 'harsh words'.
